Update: Money Laundering at Trump Taj Mahal Casino
May 11, 2017
Why Is the IRS Auditing Donald Trump? And Is Kompromat Included In IRS reports?
Peek into Trump’s financial dealings! The following US government document concerns a $10 million fine levied in connection with alleged money laundering at Trump’s casino in Atlantic City. The document is from 2015 and it describes the Trump Taj Mahal Resort as engaging in “willful and repeated” violations of the Bank Secrecy Act. The letter notes that Donald Trump’s violations date back to 2003.
A PDF about this case is on the US government website here. As noted in the paper, Trump Taj Mahal had an active petition for bankruptcy at the time.
Trump Watchdogs first posted the above info in January 2017. In early May 2017 the FBI raided a Republican fundraising consultancy group in Annapolis. The raid was related to an investigation of money laundering at Trump Taj Mahal — and guess who has ties to the raided firm? Roger Stone and Paul Manafort. Both men formerly worked for the Trump campaign and have long been under scrutiny by Trump watchdogs in federal agencies and in homes worldwide… The same week, Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
